Default IMSure - Rapid Arc Solution

We have had a lot of customers asking if and when IMSure will have a Rapid Arc solution. I thought this week I would address this issue and post a white paper one of our customers did for us.

We are currently working on an integrated Rapid Arc solution for IMSure. In the mean time some of our customers have been using the current version of IMSure and have been getting very good result in most cases. We asked one of our customers to write a white paper about thier findings and you can view that here.

If you're a Rapid Arc user, We would love to hear about your experience here on the forums.

Default Excellent Results with Water Phantom

If you create a water verification plan from the RapidArc plan and reset the gantry to zero to deliver the beam you only have one eqv. path length to worry about and you can check the dose at different points, not just iso. Also, you can create a 10 sub arc plan which allows for better eqv. path lengths throughout the patient but you would be stuck evaluating only the iso. We have consistently gotten less than 2% deviation for the total dose delivered using these methods.
