About Calibration Services from Standard Imaging

You already know the IEC recommends ion chamber and electrometer calibration every two years to assure optimal performance.1 You may not know that sending your Standard Imaging Well Chambers, Exradin Ion Chambers, and Electrometers directly to Standard Imaging for calibration you get much more than just a certificate. You get free inspection and testing services, as well as expedited repair service, if necessary.

Inspection and Testing

Our experienced technicians thoroughly inspect and test your equipment, assuring it is operating at peak performance prior to calibration. This service alone, valued at $100, is included at no cost to you. If your equipment does require service, any replacement parts are readily available eliminating unnecessary delays.

After inspection and testing, we hand carry your instrument to the University of Wisconsin ADCL, where it enters the ADCL calibration process as if sent there directly. When re-calibration is complete, your equipment is carefully packed by our technicians and shipped directly to you to assure fast turnaround.

Upgrade to the Latest Firmware and Software

We continually make improvements to the instruments we manufacture assuring they perform optimally. For electrometers, this is most often firmware and software upgrades. When you send in your electrometer for calibration, be sure to request more information about our available upgrades. Upgrading is inexpensive and does not add time to the re-calibration process.

Upgrades provide advanced features, such as Automatic Threshold Detection for the MAX 4000 or assure your electrometer is compatible with the latest MAX COMM Software; a powerful data management tool which features fast, comprehensive control of dose and dose rate measurement, chamber libraries, remote control operations, data logging, and many other advanced features.
