AUTOMATIC ENERGY DETECTION AND RESET

The QA BeamChecker automatically detects the energy type and simultaneously determines beam constancy, flatness and symmetry. It then re-arms itself for the next treatment within 10 seconds.

INTEGRATED BUILD-UP

Build-up for all energies is integrated into the device, eliminating the need to enter the vault between measurements.

Data Storage

• Approximately one month’s worth of data can be stored on the QA BeamChecker before downloading is required, although this may be done at any time.

Unique Flip Ability

• Switch between photons and electrons quickly and easily with the push of a button and a flip of the device. Because build-up is integral to the QA BeamChecker, external buildup is not required.

Convenient Storage Cradle

• Cradle provides battery charging and data transfer while the QA BeamChecker is not in use. The QA BeamChecker can also be connected directly with standard cables.

Large-High Contrast Display

• Large brightly lit display characters, easily visible from the patient monitor, rotate depending on which side of the QA BeamChecker is chosen

Communication Software

• Stored data has a time and date stamp
• Data can be viewed as a graph or table, exported to a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft® Excel and easily printed for archiving or validation purposes
• Real-time operation is available for added versatility. In this mode the QA BeamChecker is controlled via the software for immediate comparison of current measurements to baseline. Connection to a computer is required for this application.
