UNCOMPROMISING QUALITY
For assessing pinpoint radiation fields for IMRT, stereotactic, orthovoltage x-rays, and superficial skin therapy
EXRADIN MICROCHAMBERS ARE IDEAL FOR SMALL FIELD SIZE IMRT APPLICATIONS
The Model A16 Exradin Microchamber is designed primarily for IMRT and stereotactic radiosurgery applications, which use cobalt and higher energy beams. The Model A16 Exradin Microchamber is capable of measuring extremely small field sizes of 3.4 mm by 3.4 mm, allowing for exceptional spatial resolution and exact pinpoint beam profile characterization.
FAST, PRECISE MEASUREMENTS
The chamber vents through a flexible tube that surrounds the triaxial cable, ensuring the collecting volume is in pressure equilibrium with the surroundings. The design assures there are no stem or voltage soakage effects, providing precise and reliable measurements. A typical calibration factor for air kerma in a cobalt beam is 3.5 x 109 Gy/C.
DURABLE CONSTRUCTION, BUILT TO LAST
The Model A16 is constructed of rugged C552 Shonka air-equivalent plastic, providing excellent conductivity and years of reliable use.
