NEWS: Exradin MR-Compatible Ion Chambers Now Available

Jul 05, 2016

(Middleton, WI), July 6th, 2016 – Standard Imaging, Inc., a global leader in radiation quality assurance for cancer treatment, announced the official release of a series of Exradin MR compatible Ion Chambers. The series features six ion chambers, including MR compatible (non-ferrous) versions of the A1SL, A26, A28, A19, A12, and A12S.

The new MR compatible ion chambers uphold the high standard of excellence expected of an Exradin ion chamber such as a waterproof design, low-leakage, and minimal perturbation. The new MR compatible chambers also feature a black cable, which makes them easy to distinguish from other chambers.

We are excited to be a part of the new treatment paradigm combining MR imaging and radiation therapy and believe the new MR compatible chambers will ensure absolute dosimetry is done reliably, safely, and with precision for low-and high-field MRI guided linear accelerator measurements.

We are especially proud of the small volume chambers like the Exradin A26-MR and Exradin A1SL-MR which represent technical breakthroughs available for submillimeter measurements in MR fields with fast settling times and signal stability.
