(Middleton, WI), May 15, 2017 – Standard Imaging, Inc. is excited to announce the success of their 16th Annual Battling Cancer Golf Classic fundraiser. The 2017 event garnered over $20,000 for the American Cancer Society and the UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). The primary use of these funds will be for cancer research at the UWCCC, a local resource with a global impact. These dollars will be utilized to fund pilot studies that can lead the way to breakthroughs in cancer prevention and treatment.

Standard Imaging’s owners, employees, event sponsors and golfers have raised a total of more than $300,000 for cancer research over the 16 years of the event’s existence.

“The support received from our sponsors and participants is always amazing,” said Standard Imaging President and Chief Executive Office Ed Neumueller. “We filled Maple Bluff Country Club with over 130 golfers, who were very generous and supportive of this cause.
