Standard Imaging, Inc. is excited to announce that the 14th Annual Battling Cancer Golf Classic fundraiser was a great success and the money raised exceeded the previous year’s record total. The 2015 event garnered over $25,000 for the American Cancer Society and for the UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). The primary use of these funds will be for Cancer research at the UWCCC, a local resource with a global impact. These dollars will be utilized to fund pilot studies that can lead the way to breakthroughs in cancer prevention and treatment.
Standard Imaging’s owners, employees, business partners and golfers have raised more than $277,000 in total for cancer research through this annual event.
“The support received from our sponsors and participants is always amazing,” said Standard Imaging President and Chief Executive Office Ed Neumueller. “We filled Maple Bluff Country Club with over 130 golfers, who were very generous and supportive of this cause. We are very grateful for their help in raising funds to combat this disease that affects so many of our families.”
