Scintillators

Water Equivalent. Tiny. And Now Optimized For Scanning. You’ve NEVER been able to measure small fields like this before.

The Worlds Only Water Equivalent Detectors Are a Game Changer for Small Field Dosimetry.

  • Effective point of measurement as small as 1 x 1 mm
  • Water equivalent
  • Inherently waterproof
  • No dose rate, temperature, angular, or energy dependencies

Products

Exradin W1 Scintillator

Point dosimetry that's invisible to the beam

  • Has a kQ of 1.000, making the W1 an ideal detector for SRS
  • Water equivalent
  • Energy independent
  • Temperature independent
  • Pair the W1 with the SuperMAX Electrometer to effectively eliminate Čerenkov effect without the need for extraneous calculations.
  • The W1 can be connected to any dual channel electrometer

Exradin W2 Scintillator

Peerless water scanning and point dosimetry that's invisible to the beam

  • Has a kQ of 1.000, making the W2 the perfect SRS detector
  • Water equivalent
  • Energy independent
  • Temperature independent
  • Čerenkov corrections are built into the W2 system
  • User replaceable fiber, includes both 1x1 mm and 1x3 mm
  • The scintillator system features Čerenkov corrections that are built into the MAX SD, a dedicated optical detection and signal processing unit that comes with the scintillator
  • Point dose measurements are performed with only the W2 and MAX SD.
  • Cerenkov corrected scintillator measurements can be output by the MAX SD to a scanning system electrometer, so that the W2 can be used for scanning small fields.
