The Pro-RT IsoBeam is a multi functional precision quality assurance device designed for routine secondary verification of linear accelerators and room lasers. It accommodates a film for radiation and light field verification and includes a pointer to accurately and easily verify the mechanical isocenter of the gantry. Tests supported include:
- laser alignment,
- Collimator and table/couch rotational angle readout accuracy
- Radiation/light field congruence at various gantry angles,
- Collimator field size alignment, jaw readout accuracy.
- Radiation isocenter of collimators, gantries, and treatment tables/couches
- Mechanical isocenter of collimators and treatment tables/couches
- Optical Distance Indicator (ODI) accuracy at various distances
- Port film grid alignment
